Get Involved!

Want to stay fit, observe the lockdown and raise money for vital causes during these difficult times?  Read on.

First team skipper, Marc Brown has come up with a fantastic challenge that can involve players, members, family and friends - of ALL abilities.

We hope to raise a minimum of £1,500 to be split between the Eden Valley Hospice and pump some funds into our junior section for when cricket can start again.

It's a 134-mile continuous relay running challenge, the equivalent of a return journey to our first team's furthest fixture in the Cumbria Cricket League, Millom CC.

Here's how...

We are looking for as many runners as possible to run a 30 minute running slot over the day on Saturday May 23rd. The more runners the less mileage needed by everyone!

Please encourage family, colleagues, friends to donate to the cause. Run and donate!

This is for everyone at the club to get involved. Senior players, junior players, parents, coaches, committee members, friends of the club.

How to get involved?

The club has set up a just giving page to raise funds for Junior cricket and The Eden Valley Hospice.

On our social media channels, please could you comment on the post with a preferred slot of morning, afternoon or evening and Marc will give you a 30 minute time slot.

The chances of cricket does look slim at this stage so please support the cause and get your trainers on, and lets smash that target!
